WEEKLY MASS

Come with us as we take a tour into Perth’s Eastern Catholic Churches!

OUR MISSION

The UWA Catholic Society serves as a messenger to bring the fullness and truth of the catholic faith to young people.

Last one of the school year!

BRINGING
TRUTH &
FULLNESS.

"The desire for God is written in the human heart, because man is created by God and for God; and God never ceases to draw man to himself. Only in God will he find the truth and happiness he never stops searching for."
- Catechism of the Catholic Church 27

PRAYER

Prayer as defined in the CCC (Catechism of the Catholic Church):

"Prayer is the raising of one's mind and heart to God or the requesting of good things from God. But when we pray, do we speak from the height of our pride and will, or "out of the depths" of a humble and contrite heart? He who humbles himself will be exalted;
humility is the foundation of prayer, Only when we humbly acknowledge that "we do not know how to pray as we ought," are we ready to receive freely the gift of prayer. "Man is a beggar before God." - Catechism of the Catholic Church 2559
